
Dr. Nick Jungheim (TN)

Nick Jungheim is a Deaf man from Chicago who graduated from Gallaudet University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He met his wife, Lisa, at the University of Illinois, and they married in 1999. They have four children; Jacob (23), Jesse (20), Emma (19), and Faith (19).

Nick became a Christian in 1998 and felt called to evangelize Christ to the Deaf. He pastored two Deaf ministries in Oklahoma and earned a master's in divinity from Luther Rice University. In 2013, Nick and Lisa became missionaries with the International Mission Board in Senegal, Africa, where they evangelized Deaf Africans, discipled new believers, and planted churches in Deaf communities for ten years.

Nick earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. In 2024, he became the President of Deaf Pathway Global, leading the translation of the Bible into natural sign languages for the Deaf worldwide. Nick and his family reside in Nashville, TN, and are members of Brentwood Baptist Deaf Church.
